#NYFW Victoria Beckham

Ever since the Spice Girls, I have been an avid fan of Victoria Beckham - yes I will admit she was only my favourite Spice Girl because we shared the same name. Even now as an established fashion designer she never fails to disappoint. This morning, the New York Public Library was home to VB's Spring 2013 show.

The look was sharp and chic and when teamed with Monolo Blahnik monochrome brogues the show had quite an androgynous feel about it. The show was minimalistic and simple but not at all in a bad way. The whole look was kept sleek with lightly tousled hair, centre parted and tucked behind the models ears which was matched perfectly with natural make-up courtesy of Maybelline. The black and white was brought to life with flashes of orange creating a brilliant contrast of colour and the detail on the outfits was exquisite. The sheer fabrics added a touch of feminism to the tailoring as well as a little sexiness. From cut-out detail on the sleeves, to crochet panels in the dress, this collection was brilliant and SO wearable.
