georgia may jagger

again, whilst searching my computer i found some scans i had taken from a photo shoot in vogue of a youngish georgia may jagger. this then led me on a search through my extensive vogue collection until i found the issue the photo shoot came from; november 2009.

here are just a couple of snaps from the shoot, photographed by mario testino. if you remember, quite a while back, we were asked at uni to come up with 3 or 4 people that we believed to be taste makers to the fashion industry, and it was from this shoot that made me consider georgia to be just that. i loved her image, back in 2009 it was unique and fresh and i knew she'd was set to become something big, which is why i chose her as a taste maker.

i also love love love this shoot. i love the vibrancy testino has bought forward from the use of the strong red background clashing with the bright colours of the clothing. it was so different to what we usually see in vogue and with jagger it bought such a youthful edge to the issue. it's brilliant.
