a la mode LFW

last friday i got the unbelievably exciting opportunity of front row seats at a lfw event. how did you acquire these you ask? well thanks to my previous post 'a la mode' i won the chance to go watch the fabulous 'a la mode' show, hosted by l-g-n events at london fashion week, bringing up and coming international designers to the publics eye. the prize included front row seats and free champagne and of course the brilliant opportunity to now blog, from first hand experience, about a london fashion week event. the whole experience was amazing, as i said to all my friends afterwards i felt like a proper 'fashiony' person!
so last friday, with my cousin in tow, we set off to the beautiful charing cross hotel where the event was being held.

the photographers!

take a look at a couple of my favourite designers of the night:

first on the catwalk was french designer malam. this is a brand which specialises in lace and embroidery mixed together with unexpected, vintage patterns.
the collection was made up of interesting and original shapes from intricate tailoring in pale colours and floral patterns. there was something french about the brand and hand-made quality gave a much more personal touch. as for the footwear and dramatic eye make-up, it gave the brand an exciting edge to the prettiness of the clothing.

up next was my favourite designer of the show by far, polish designer anniss. everything about this show was amazing. the clothes were gorgeous, from beautiful dresses to stunning tailoring and this was in both the mens and womenswear. the look was dramatic and sultry. anniss is definitely one to look out for.

the evening was a brilliant experience and thankyou to everyone at l-g-n for giving me this opportunity.
enjoy xx
